1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dental Tech Ledger (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Dental Tech Ledger is a mobile application for iOS devices that provides:

• Work journal for recording dental laboratory work entries
• Doctor and clinic contact management
• Work type and pricing management
• Data export (CSV, PDF) for billing and accounting
• Local backup and restore functionality

The App is designed for dental technicians and dental laboratories to manage their business operations offline.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Data Accuracy: Ensuring that work entries, pricing, and doctor information you enter is accurate
• Data Backup: Creating regular backups of your data using the App's backup feature or iOS device backups
• Device Security: Securing your iOS device with a passcode and using the App's Face ID/Touch ID lock feature if desired
• Compliance: Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Professional Use: Ensuring your use of the App complies with professional standards and regulations in the dental industry

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you create, enter, or upload to the App. We do not claim any rights to your work entries, doctor contacts, pricing information, or other data.

Since the App stores data locally on your device and does not transmit it to our servers, we never have access to your data.

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• That the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
• That defects will be corrected
• That the App is suitable for accounting, tax, or legal compliance purposes (consult professionals)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any)

Data Loss: While we implement reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not responsible for data loss. You are responsible for creating backups of your data.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Any dispute between you and a third party related to your use of the App

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App from time to time to:

• Add new features
• Fix bugs or improve performance
• Ensure compatibility with new iOS versions

Updates may be provided through the Apple App Store. You are responsible for downloading and installing updates.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice.

11. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated by you or us.

• You may terminate: By uninstalling the App from your device
• We may terminate: If you violate these Terms, though since the App is offline-only, this would primarily mean removing the App from the App Store

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends, and you should delete all copies of the App from your devices.

12. Export Compliance

The App may be subject to export control laws. You agree not to export or re-export the App to any country, person, or entity in violation of such laws.

13. Apple App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Terms and the App Store Terms, the App Store Terms prevail regarding your relationship with Apple.

Apple is not responsible for:

• The App or its content
• Maintenance and support (we are solely responsible)
• Any claims related to the App

14. Governing Law
